We started our Ron Hill Classic off to a cloudy overcast Friday afternoon. The Florida GCSA began their
Board Meeting at 11:00am and finished in time for several to join us at the Little Sandy, 10 Hole Par 3
Executive Course. We had 58 join us for first every Shootout complete with open bar and appetizers. Rains came just as the last few groups finished, but overall it was a great event. Saturday morning greeted us with a beautiful sunrise, and golfers and their families headed to the Golf Course
around 10am for a Brunch Buffet of fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage, and other delicious eats. 95 golfers headed out to start their round of golf at 11am with a beautiful day in the 80’s.
Christy Lyle of Pro Plus greeted around 30 Ladies by the Pool Bar at 11:00am for a Ladies Social. The Evening started at 6:30pm as everyone headed to the Dinner/Reception where around 140 enjoyed a few cocktails, socializing and followed with a wonderful Buffet of Prime Rib, Low Amelia Boil, Fried Chicken along with all the fixings.
Our President Alan Brown thanked our wonderful Sponsors and everyone for coming before handing the mic over to Bill Davis for award presentations and the 2023 Butch Singo Award.

2022 Results and Pics:
We started our Ron Hill Classic off with a beautiful Friday afternoon. The FCGCSA began their Board Meeting at 1pm and finished up in time for several to join us at the Little Sandy, 10 hole Par 3 Executive Course. WE had 39 join us for a beautiful evening of golf and fellowship. Several not playing walked with the golfers or sat around the course to enjoy a beautiful evening.
Saturday morning greeted us with a beautiful sunrise, and golfers headed to the course around 10am for a brunch buffet of fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage and other delicious eats. 79 golfers headed out to start their round of golf at 11am with a beautiful day in the low 80’s. Christy Lyle of Pro Plus greeted all the Ladies by the pool bar at 10:30am with Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. Around 12:30pm several ladies went shopping or just relaxed by the pool. The evening started at 6:30pm as everyone headed to the dinner/reception where about 100+ enjoyed a few cocktails, appetizers and socializing followed by a wonderful Buffet of Prime Rib, Low Amelia Boil, Fried Chicken along with all the fixings, topped off with funnel cakes and banana pudding.
Our President, Al Clements, thanked or wonderful Sponsors and everyone for coming before handing the mic over to Brent Holmes who reminded us of what the Butch Singo Award is all about.

We started our Ron Hill Classic off with a beautiful Friday
afternoon. Several gathered by the Pool to socialize and
have a few beverages before heading out for Dinner.
Saturday morning greeted us with a beautiful sunrise, and
everyone headed to the Golf Course around 10am for a
Brunch Buffet of fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage and
other delicious eats. 72 golfers headed out to start their
round of golf at 11am with a beautiful day in the mid 80’s.
Around 6:30pm everyone headed to the Dinner/Reception
where around 95 of us enjoyed a few cocktails, appetizers,
and socializing followed with a wonderful Buffet of Prime
Rib, Low Amelia Boil, Friend Chicken along with all the
fixings, topped off with Funnel Cakes and Banana Pudding.
Ryan Hill thanked everyone for remembering his Father
and expressed how much the Tournament and Amelia
Island means to him and his famuly.
A very surprised Gary James was presented the 2021 Butch
Singo Award and Todd Ronske gave us a little history on
Gary and his time in the Golfing Industry.
